Alexander is a CPNAA-Architect graduated from Los Andes University in Bogotá in 2000.

His interest in architecture and design was born at early age, growing up surrounded by an environment of constructors, architects and engineers. After completing his qualifications, he travelled to London to continue his architectural education, and research at the prestigious Architectural Association School of Architecture, where he was awarded the degree of Master of Arts in Environment and Energy in 2003.

Since his MA degree graduation, and within a span of 18+ years Alex worked for several well respected national & international architecture and multidisciplinary firms based in London, where he has been able to build up an extensive portfolio of experience as a master planner in architectural and technical design consultancy.

​

His work involves a number of high profile, creative and innovative projects and competitions in the UK, Europe, Middle East & The Americas. His experience and expertise relates to small to large master planning, urban regenerations,  as well as new build, refurbishment & extensions for residential, office, retail, hotel, office, wellness, sport, exhibition and performance venues.
​Alex’s current work focuses on the realms of design research, and execution in master planning, residential, retail, hospitality + leisure, wellness, sport, exhibition & performance venues, and mixed-use projects, implementing concept and technical design.

In 2016 Alexander formed ARTES London.
